"A Thing-Finder."   "What's that?" asked Tommy.     "Somebody who hunts for things, naturally. What else could it be?" said Pippi. "The whole world is full of things, and some- body has to look for them. And that's just what a Thing-Finder does," she finished.   "What kind of things?" asked Annika.   "Oh, all kinds," said Pippi. "Lumps of gold, ostrich feathers, dead rats, candy snapcrackers, little tiny screws, and things like that." (from Pippi Longstocking, by Astrid Lingred)

She falls in love with ReMida during a course at the Reggio Children center, and dreams of bringing the values of the project to the Bologna area. She gets to work right away, to ably turn the dream into reality. In 2007 she founds the NGO Associazione Funamboli (literally, ‘tightrope walker organization’) and opens the ReMida center for Bologna. Her job in the center is curating the pedagocical aspects, the aesthetics of the center, the relationship with companies ‘donating’ to the center their waste material… in short she does it all! She made her bed, and now she lies in it, but wide awake! Awake and walking on the tightrope… pushing others to do the same…
